Covid-19: The widespread, pandemic has overwhelmed the entire world and India also had borne the brunt of the same. The spread was colossal that the World Health Organization (WHO) ha to declare it as a pandemic. The only way to control and defeat this mammoth pandemic was to make people follow social distancing an also to restrain them from moving out to avoid social connection. India as a developing country having about 25% of its citizens below official poverty line are drastically hit by this pandemic.

Moreover, 50% of businesses have specified a certain amount of impact of shutdowns and caused a rapid increase in unemployment, which lead to the rapid growth of selling price in the local markets. The production sectors are not having enough resources to produce the required amount goods and services. The workers and labors who are stuck in different cities are walking barefoot towards their hometowns due to no means of transportation. In India more than 32 crore students have been affected by the various restrictions and the nationwide lockdown. From the second week of March, state governments across the country began shutting down schools and colleges temporarily as a measure to certain the spread of coronavirus. Board examinations, nursery schools admission, entrance tests of various universities, competitive exams all have been put in hold due this pandemic. School closures in response to the pandemic have shed light on various social and economic issues, including student debt. But meanwhile, private schools are colleges are giving messages about the fee submission continuously. There are some information about increasing fees also. In this economic crisis where people can’t even afford their basic livelihood have been forced by the private sectors to pay their dues. Even after having Right To Education act (RTE), the impact is more severe for disadvantaged children and their families, causing interrupted learning, compromised nutrition, childcare problems, and consequent economic cost to families who could not work. According to UNICEF monitoring, 134 countries are currently implementing nationwide closures and 38 are implementing local closures, impacting about 98.5 percent of the world's student population. Govt. has proposed distance learning and E-learning programs would meet the students’ requirement which is quite contradictory because E-learning facilities are not available to each students and the students living remotely also have internet issues. Clearly, there is panic all around and educators and students alike are confused as to next steps and continuity with respect to educational objectives.
